Anti-Scald Mixing Valve | 1/2" MPT
The Anti-Scald Mixing Valve is designed to prevent water from becoming too hot and causing burns. It is constructed from solid, lead-free brass and is durable and field repairable. It has two 1/2” MPT inlets and a 1/2” MPT outlet. The valve can handle a minimum water flow of 0.25 GPM and a maximum flow of 12 GPM, with a maximum water pressure of 125 PSI. The temperature is adjustable between 90°F and 140°F, with a maximum hot water inlet temperature of 200°F.
This valve not only ensures safety by preventing scalding but also increases the efficiency of water heaters by up to 50%. It meets ASSE 1017 and 1070 standards, and is CSA and IAPMO approved. Additionally, it includes Buna O-rings for sealing and a vandal-resistant cap for added security.
