No Lead Ball Valve- Size and Certification- Update

Here is a photo of the inlet valve port showing the actual flow port size.

Hose bibs are not meant to be full port. 3/4' is stating the connection size, not the water flow port. These hose bibbs are certified by IAPMO. Hoses with full ports would not be certified as they do not consume water. Full port is only mentioned in plumbing when referencing ball valves. Not hose bibs.

Find another option

While the price point seems good for a Lead Free 1/4 turn Hose Bibb, they do not hold up to daily use.

We have used these extensively throughout our campground consisting of almost 300 campsites, and over time, all of them have developed leaks.

There is no packing to tighten, and they cannot be serviced.

I've replaced over 50 of these so far and can't wait to replace the rest.

I find upwards of 15 or more of them leaking in a week.

We have older bibbs that are in excess of 5-6 years old without issue.

These are cheaply made imports, and the few dollars we may have saved on them was more than offset by the labor to replace them constantly, not to mention the wasted water from drips.
